Wander into an oak beamed farmhouse kitchen complete with warm and welcoming kitchen range and flag floor.
The kitchen has been well fitted out with hand made units with granite work surfaces and equipped with a new gas fired Aga-style cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, CD player and radio. It has all the features to make your holiday easy and relaxing but retains the character and charm of a delightful country cottage kitchen. |
Directly outside the kitchen door there is a private sunny courtyard with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. A sun trap even in the winter! And a very pleasant place to read the morning paper!
The sitting-room is the old traditional cottage parlour. Snug and comfortable you can relax in front of a real fire you have lit yourself in the multi-fuel stove, or just enjoy a peaceful outlook onto secluded cottage garden. Colour T.V. & Video, games and local guide books are provided. |

Up the old stone stairs you will find two double bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed.
Both have iron and brass bedsteads and window seats overlooking the pretty garden. |
| The shower room is downstairs off a small stone flagged lobby. It has a Victorian style wash-hand basin and WC and a luxury 21st Century Shower cubicle with lashings of hot water to ease those muscles after a pleasant day's rambling across the open country of the Peak District. |

There is a separate laundry and utility room in an outbuilding about 10 metres from the kitchen door. The laundry has been newly fitted out with a stainless steel sink, washing machine, spin dryer and ironing facilities.
